1)
Booking. Before booking please call us to check that your cottage
is available for when you want it. Bookings are best made by telephone,
and confirmed within 5 days on the booking form, enclosing the deposit.
Please make cheques payable to Sue Russill.
2)
Deposit. Deposit may be either 50% of the total rental, with the
balance payable on arrival at the cottage; or 25% , in which case
the total balance is due at least one month before arrival. If your
holiday is due to take place within one month of the booking date
then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
3)
Damages. The Hirer is responsible for the cottage and its contents,
and undertakes to take all reasonable care to keep it clean and
tidy, and to replace or repair any breakages or damage caused. It
is not our policy to levy a damage deposit and we do ask for your
support as above so that we are not forced to do so.
4)
Cancellations. If your booking has to be cancelled (in writing please)
more than one month before the holiday, every effort will be made
to re-let. If successful, the deposit, less £40 for each week's
booking, will be refunded. If unsuccessful, the deposit will be
retained. If your booking has to be cancelled (in writing please)
less than one month before the holiday, the deposit and the balance
become payable in total. Every effort will be made to re-let and,
if successful, all monies paid will be returned less £40 for
each week's booking. You may wish to take out a Holiday Cancellation
Insurance through your usual Broker.
5)
Access. The Owners retain the right to enter the cottage at any reasonable
time to carry out any repairs deemed necessary to the property or
equipment.
